I’m Paulijn van der Pot, a (visual) storyteller based in the Amsterdam area.
Currently engaged as creative director for The Visionary Lab, working with clients like Levi’s, Vitra and G-Star RAW. Additionally I work as chief editor of art-magazine MOCO Roof published by the MOCO Museum. Before that, I held the position of chief editor for fashion magazine L’OFFICIEL NL.
About
Born and raised in Delft. Lived and learned in Amsterdam and Paris. I’m an experienced (visual) storyteller leaving my fingerprint on the fashion and design world with a proven record of working for various brands, publications, museums and institutions.
As co-founder of The Visionary Lab I am dedicated to crafting sustainable and artistic design concepts aimed at shaping a better future. My overarching goal is to instigate positive impact within the fashion and design industry through my passion for (visual) language.
Projects
ICONS RE/OUTFITTED: a design collection curated and developed by me for The Visionary Lab. This artistic project, in collaboration with Vitra and Levi’s, merges fashion, design and storytelling to bring attention to the issue of textile waste.
MOCO ROOF: Art-magazine I have co-created, designed and published for the Modern Contemporary (Moco) Museum in Amsterdam and Barcelona.
DENIM FOR EARTH: A concept I designed and curated to combine fashion, photography and sustainability in order to raise awareness for the issue of textile waste.
L’OFFICIEL NL: As an experienced storyteller I have crafted countless features for monthly fashion magazines L’OFFICIEL NL and L’OFFICIEL HOMMES, published by the Jalou Media Group.
Experiments
I’m always working on something on the side. Currently researching and developing new fabrics and textiles made of waste materials.
